-Lake Montjoie is an ecological head lake known for the exceptional quality of its water. It is the ideal body of water for swimming and most non-motorized water activities. With an area of 3.23 km2, with an average depth of 26 ft and a maximum depth of 73 ft, navigation with gasoline engines is prohibited. Only non-motorized boats or low-power electric motors are authorized. The perimeter of the lake is zoned VR (residential resort) or VE (ecological resort). In terms of sport fishing, we find there; yellow perch, smallmouth bass, lake and speckled trout.
-With the plans of the Mont Orford National Park, a huge portion of the shoreline to the west of Lake Montjoie (facing the property) will be integrated and protected in perpetuity. Access to the trails will thus be nearby for hiking enthusiasts.
-The area is appreciated by both permanent residents who work in Sherbrooke or Magog and vacationers from Montreal and the South Shore because of its easy access year-round and its proximity to all the major services and attractions of the region. Fairly uniform neighborhood.
